Pica’s Restaurant of Upper Darby is a beloved dining establishment that offers a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary cuisine, catering to a diverse clientele….
The pizza here makes no sense but it is one of the best I have ever had. So simple and different but delicious. We also had the calamari and burrata salad. The ambiance is a bit dated and the service was standard, nothing special. Still worth it to go for the pizza.
We had a small party here, the room was off to the side and felt very intimate. We wanted a family style party that didn't feel over staffed. The staff was so accommodating even though it was a small party. The food was amazing as always and came out perfectly. They even allowed us to bring a decorative cake. If I could give 6 stars I would. Consider them!
This was my first time at Pica's restaurant. The atmosphere was great, nice and cozy, welcoming with a classic Italian homestyle feel. The front desk person was nice, and we were seated immediately as we walked through the door (we did go close to closing time during the week). The waitress was friendly and attentive to our order. The food was amazing, to say the least. Pizza was crispy on the edges perfectly toasted underneath. The toppings were well seasoned, and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect buttery and crispy . My only con is that we did order fries, and they were never brought out even after bringing it to the attention of the waitress. The dessert cheesecake was also pretty tasty, and they have a good selection of wines and other beverages available. I absolutely recommend this place. It can be a family outing or a date night or a coworker meet-up. This place is versatile!

I'm not sure what others do to hate this place so much, but I go on a fairly consistent basis, and I've been over 10 times now within the last 3 years. Most recent was a few days ago on my birthday. Every server we've ever had has always been extremely nice. Maybe a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but nothing a little patience can't get through. The cost of everything is insanely high right now, so the fact I can eat as much as I want of ANYTHING for under $50 is a pretty good deal in my opinion. What finally made me leave a review now, is that it makes me sad to see such nasty reviews, as my most recent experience was my favorite. Their kimchi is my favorite, and when we were done ordering meat, we asked if we could yet just a little more kimchi, I told her because it's the best she said of course, and brought over an entire chunk, cut it right in front of us, and put some in containers for us to take home. It was so sweet, and as minor as it may sound, it really made my day. That being said, if you're turned off by the prices, or don't have the patience to take a little extra time to communicate with someone, save them your attitude and go somewhere else.
I had SOJU for the first time!! It was better than I expected. Cool, sweet, alcohol that does not offend your palate. Does compliment the food. New Korean BBQ in Upper Darby. We ate a lot of meat for the price!
The food has and will always be good but it’s 40 dollars a person and the server was kind of a jerk to my parents. Every time we asked for something she seemed hesitant to give it to us and she would explain that she didn’t want us to waste it but we ate all our stuff. We got tiny bowls of rice and when we finished them and asked for more she gave us a one person serving of rice. And when i told her we weren’t going to split that, she went back and forth before giving us the rice. I understand you don’t want waste but you can’t call it all you can eat and skimp out on the sides. I’ll go back but I wish that the customer service was better or that it wasn’t called an all you can eat if it’s not.

Great customer service. Love the food, not too bad on price, for a nice size and add on. For sure Worth your money
Hit and miss. Ordered from here multiple times. Some times it's great value for the money, sometimes not. They need to be more consistent with their quality and size. Hot chicken is small and not the same as other places.
some of the best halal food in the area , super cheap , big menu, and food is made quickly.

Just moved to Philly and came across this gem in the parking lot behind Popeyes. I went in and got the Boneless Jerk Chicken with two sides, and have been coming back ever since. 10 outta 10 totally recommend if you want authentic Jamaican food
I've had good Jamaican food before, BUT this was the best Jamaican food I've ever had. BEST MAC AND CHEESE! This was better than the food in Jamaica. I highly recommend everything here, even the drinks.
My mother and I ordered oxtails and curry goat, with rice and peas and an additional side of greens. Overall the food was pretty good, although I have to say that my curry goat was much much tougher than I expected. The sides were very good and my sorrel ginger was fantastic. So, I give the food a 3/5. However, the customer service? Whew! Look, I understand the lady taking orders had a headache, I sympathize with that. But when your whole attitude screams "Go away!", well, I almost did. And the folks on the line weren't making up for her deficiency, but I appreciated that their attention was on getting folks served fast. We met one of the cooks, who was just as sweet as could be, so overall interaction with the staff was uneven. Would we go back? Maybe.

This food is so delicious! The portions are really good for price. It's always fresh and so tasty, even after delivery. I recommend giving this spot a try!
Stumbled upon this hidden gem with killer authentic Mexican food. The folks there are super kind and humble—feels like they might all be family because of the awesome vibe. Definitely recommend this place, and I hardly ever leave reviews.
Mexican Grill La Guera is a great destination for those who love authentic Mexican cuisine. Dishes like tacos, burritos, and enchiladas are prepared with fresh, bold flavors and high-quality ingredients. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The cozy atmosphere and warm service make you feel right at home. This is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious, authentic Mexican meal.

Hands down best Mexican food I've had in or around Philly. If you're super hungry I recommend getting the torta Cubano. This photo is the birria tacos. Everything is so good
Excellent Mexican place if you’re looking for authentic food. The Molcajete is a must try, tacos are also good, aguas frescas are pretty good. The sizes are decent. The place is very small so I recommend doing take outs instead of dining in.
INCREDIBLE food and service! This is a very underrated gem in the Philly area for authentic Mexican food! Comida delicioso! It’s very small so the majority of people take food to go. It has a very family atmosphere. The waitress was so nice and sweet. This food is the real deal. From the dish of nachos and beans and salsa that comes to your table for free as an appetizer to the main dish to the tacos, oh my gosh the tacos their street tacos are out of this world good! You will not be disappointed by the food if you want authentic, like your mama makes food. If you want a very Americanized hipster taco or fusion Latin food joint this is probably not your place. I only gave it 4 stars only because the seating area was sooo small it made it a little less relaxing to dine in but everything else was 5 stars and top notch. Had asada and chorizo street tacos, a stuffed quesadilla y molcajete. All amazing. And very good prices for how much food you get! We ate a lot while there and still brought two to-go boxes home with us.

Ordered some grits for takeout. Came packed neatly with all condiments. Grits were creamy and good, portion size very good. Enough for later.
Good food. Great service. The cook needs to follow directions, tho. Everything doesn't need cheese, man!!!
I ordered from Doordash this was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered French Toast, Eggs, Bacon. Shrimp and Grits, Eggs and Toast. Fresh Food and the coffee stayed Hot.

Came here from too good to go the food was really yummy we got barbecue chicken and rice with vegetables we are looking forward to coming to try other food :). The meat was so tender!! The woman who served us was very kind and had a cute crochet hat on! They are a relatively new spot (3 months) check them out :)
This relatively new restaurant serves good Jamaican food with good service. Parking is rough as it's located at the busiest intersection. No surprises on the menu, but the portions are large and food quite good. Dining in is an option at either basic table. The better option would be to get the food to go, delivery (with Doordash), or catered.
I got the Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas, Cabbage, and some Plantains and it was all very flavorful and awesome! The portion size was solid, 2 people could share a medium size meal. The customer service was excellent and the place was clean. There are only 2 tables to sit down and eat at, it's more of a to-go spot. The parking is not great in the area, there's a parking lot across the street. I highly recommend checking them out!

Food is consistent as usual. But service wasn't good. Had to ask for utensils multiple times. Never gotten my water refilled till I was getting up to pay.
The people are great. The sandwich is the food the atmosphere there's a lady there that I call Sunshine she's sweet as sugar and nice as they can come guys love to talk football basketball and baseball great atmosphere! Thank you James Clifton
I am a resident of the area and I will say this…Location,Location,Location on point. Food has always been a staple franchise. Now the service and Atmosphere reflects the quality of one’s experience even the food can be a daunting experience. I would recommend that you take these reviews seriously and for anyone interested in learning more about this IHOP read the full reviews then do some research on the establishment and if things don’t change we (The) people have the ability to form an alliance economically and financially purchase the building and franchise to upgrade it to our community standards. Me and my beautiful wife and Daughter always went there, however in the last few years it’s been a not so good experience. It’s unhealthy and the conditions are poorly maintained or met. However, the people who are employed are just courageous enough to work under such circumstances. But instead of complaining I look to at the very least resolve the problem to community and public standards of service and professionalism. The employees did what they could do in trying to keep any walk ins comfortable with receiving services and to ignore that repugnant odor of sewage gases being released …. Safety please. Keep IHOP IN BUSINESS BUT UPGRADE ITS ADMINISTRATION AND BUILDING

The food was delicious. I had a chicken cheesesteak and cheese fries. So yummy. My friend had a salmon Caesar salad that I tasted as well-Salmon was cooked to perfection…nice and flaky.
Cool Delco-style bar (what we called a "pappy bar" in my youth.) Now that I'm a "pappy" I fit right in. I did not go during a sporting event, but there are at least a dozen good screens indicating it would be a great place to watch the Iggles. I had passed this place for years on my way to get ethnic food on Terminal Square, but a Facebook post indicated they had a great hot turkey, so that's what I set out to try. Menu was VERY varied and I'd eat just about every item on it. Turkey was not highly seasoned (let's face it, the Irish are not famous for their spicy food.) A little salt and pepper was enough to liven it up. Served piping hot and exuded freshness. Bartender treated me like a regular, though it was my first time there. Poured a proper Guinness and a healthy shot of Tullamore Dew. I could barely believe the bill. I've paid a hell of a lot more for far less. Will be on my regular rotation.
Great food and cold beverages, cool place
