Best Restaurants Open for Christmas Dinner this year in Ridley Park – 2024

The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting. With very clean restrooms. All the food, & drinks were delicious. We had the sample appetizer, Meatloaf, & Spare Rib entrees. Everything was seasoned, & cooked perfectly. The best part was the service. Our waitress was exceptional, and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great local spot! We needed a place for a repast and expected 40 people. Unfortunately, only 20 were able to attend. They acted as if this was normal when it certainly is not. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. Next time I'm in town, I'll make time to come back and bring friends for dinner.

Stopped in for a work lunch with a group of 10. Server was friendly and helpful. Food was good. I ordered the Reuben with fries, and others ordered the quesadilla, the shrimp wrap, burgers, salads, and the cheesesteak, and everyone enjoyed their food. Casey’s doesn’t normally split bills for larger groups but they made an exception for us which was SO helpful! We’ll definitely be back soon.

Great location and friendly service. We were seated outside and had some unwanted critters visit, but the atmosphere was still awesome. The food was ok. They were out of a lot of items so most of us had to eat our 2 choice. I would probably pass on visiting again.

First off I wanna say every time I come here I'm asking for Claire. She is the best waitress ever. I don't care if she has a certain section I'm requesting her. I had the ribs. They were fall off the bone. If they have them get them. Chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks were good too. My lady got the water front chicken it was breaded but in the menu online says it's grilled but the restaurant made it right by making her a grilled chicken. I thought that was great. Sitting outside made it even better. I will be back

Stinger was a very great restaurant the food was phenomenal. Customer service was polite and pleasant. The prices are very affordable I give it a 10/10 and I will be eating there again

The best quality Chinese food in the area. Moved in this area a couple years ago but has grown to be my go-to. The family is super welcoming and the quality of the food is top notch. Ribs and chicken sticks are grilled (not fried) and definitely try the chicken wings!!! My kids love the pu pu platter (one of my everything). The family doesn’t speak too much English but they are super patient and hardworking.

I have been to over 100 Chinese restaurants in 37 different states..... this is my second time coming here and I will tell you this is hands down the best place I've come to. Their food is phenomenal and their portion sizes are massive. Texas approved

So tired of the passive-aggressive woman who answers the phone… consistently irritating, does not listen, rude, sorry,… that’s it. I’ve had it. No more. Every time I attempt to order something, and even give her the corresponding number on the menu item… she still questions what I’m ordering, tells me it’s not “an entree,” or some such nonsense… then suddenly “discovers” it on the menu a moment later. Then I try to give her my address to deliver… another 19 minute debacle. Owner is miserable too, and the pork they use in dishes is not traditional Chinese roast pork, but rather some cheap kind of shoulder meat that is NOT supppsed to be stir-fried. Its grissely and disgusting, like biting through a chicken gizzard.

A nice little hidden gem, dark outside but don't let it fool you when you walk in it pops at you, the sandwich I had was fresh and good, can't wait to try there other sandwiches, Cheeseburger club and Turkey club, these sandwiches and everything I've had is off the chain

Food is good, prices have become ridiculously high. .75 cents convenience fee for ordering online? Who’s that convenient for? Sorry but paying over $12 dollars for some grilled chicken on a Kaiser roll is insane. Food is good, not worth the cost.

So I knew they have some of the best cheesesteaks in Delco with their Angus beef but the rest of the menu is great too! I had a red pepper chicken cutlet and a BLT. The cutlets are made fresh and had a sharp provolone (I added a fresh seeded roll). I thought there was no way I could eat it all...lies. LOL The bacon on the BLT was so good and they don't cheat you on the meat. I love this hidden gem.

Let's start off with the fact that the food is made fresh along with pack with flavor. The homemade drinks are sooooo delicious. Hold they got food for whatever mood you are in. When I say the food is soooo good it had me dancing while eating my food and crying because my food was gone. It's OK my New favorite place. Oh yeah and they are affordable..

We’ve been ordering Aldo & Mannys for years, but this will be the last time we order. This past year we’ve had more issues ordering from here than not, including the rude staff that answer the phone. Regarding today, I call to place an order which i’m almost certain was taken by the owner. I asked him their smallest count of wings they offered and he said 10, and I said that I thought I saw 6 on the menu, then all of a sudden 6 is now the smallest. He said fries come with the 6 count, so I told him to take off the order of fries that I originally ordered, as well as stating “so the only fries I want are the fries that come with the wings” and he said he got it. When the food gets here, I notice an extra box of fries and look at the receipt and got charged for “additional fries”???? Besides that, I asked him how many garlic knots come in an order and he says 12, as we were splitting them between 4 people, and we ended up only getting 11 in the box. The pizza crust felt like it was sitting around for hours, hard and stale. Then you open the box and get some adult size slices mixed with some kid slices, like this isn’t a pizza shop or anything.

Aldo and mannys treated my family to a pizza dinner tonight!! They are always giving back to their community & their food is absolutely delicious! If you haven’t done so already, you must try them ❤️

I placed an order at 12:30pm on 10/31.... for a 5:30 delivery the same night.... WITH 20% tip.... trying to be prepared knowing it was Halloween and they would most likely get busy. When 6 pm came and I still had no food, we tried to call. After about 15 minutes of ringing, we were hung up on after we asked about the late order. We were then hung up on 3 other times. The lack of professionalism was shocking. We finally get our cold hard over priced $60 pizza .....over an hour late. We will never be ordering there again. Terrible customer service.

I had a mixed experience with my recent order from Double Decker Pizza. The delivery driver was prompt and accurate with my order, which was a positive start. However, the white pizza with ricotta, tomato, and broccoli had a strong spoiled milk taste, likely from the ricotta. It was truly disgusting and I would rate it 1/5. On the bright side, the Greek salad was excellent. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the generous chunks of feta cheese added a delicious touch. I would give the salad a perfect score of 5/5. The Inside Outs were a bit hit or miss. While we ordered our three favorite varieties, they were just okay - not the best, but not the worst either. I would rate them 3/5. Overall, my experience with Double Decker Pizza was a mix of highs and lows. I would recommend sticking to their salads and maybe trying a different pizza option next time.

They do not know how to follow simple directions when it is on the receipt . Driver also has an attitude because I did not give him a tip on my card when I was going to give him one in person until he asked for a tip. Then he gets mad and starts saying stuff under his breath. The girl on the phone when I explained what happened had an attitude also. So I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was nice and understanding . Hopefully they get better people to know how to have good customer service skills!

Great takeout spot for nights when you don't feel like cooking. Large menu so there is something for everyone. Their pizza is not my favorite but my husband loves it. Cheesesteaks are really good.

WOWOWOWOWO! YES! So fresh, so perfect. My mouth was filled with pure joy. My only regret? Not getting another Italian sandwich! Service was great and quick! Very kind staff. The bread was phenomenal. All of the veggies were fresh and the meat amazing. They stack your sandwich up! And make it perfect. I wish Oklahoma had this!

Talluto's is AMAZING!!!!! So worth the 45 minute drive. My favorites are the cheese balls, stuffed peppers, Old World Italian hoagie, butternut squash raviolis, cheese manicotti, broccoli rabe raviolis and Veal raviolis. The staff is WONDERFUL, very friendly and helpful!! Can't say enough! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great ingredients, the oil on the hoagie is so flavorful, I could see it being to much even , a bit salty . But my initial bite it was a pleasant surprise. A Hoagie doesn't get much better I would say .

Not bad at all having a 24-hour diner on the outskirts of Philly. From 1-10, it was a solid 7 that number would have been higher if the service was faster with the little bit of people in there. Mind u waitress was having a little bit of an off night. Also, I asked for my buger medium well done, and they missed terribly ‍♂️

My review is based on two visits one day apart. I've been here twice before years ago. I found the food to be pretty good. It's not gourmet but the quality is fine. The service was borderline terrible the first time. The waitress said they were short staffed and it was lunch time. I never experienced problems with service in the past. The next day I came on a Sunday morning. It was hopping! It was hard to find parking in their lot. And street parking is not an option. This place appeals to families with kids, law enforcement officers, and construction workers. If you're looking for a trendy, brunch location you'll be disappointed. But if you like a well sized meal in a traditional diner environment with a mixed crowd, you'll be very happy! I'm going to stick with off hours.

After spending the majority of our night Dashing, the Husb and I decided to stop in here for some breakfast. It's our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. We ordered the Country Omelette and the Baked Meatloaf. Our sides were Applesauce, Potato Salad, and Coleslaw. Sooo yummy!!! *Great service! Gina was very professional, composed, sweet, kind, and covered the entire dining area. *There was a group of 6 that were seated next to us, and they were horrible towards the server and the rest of the staff. They were loud, rude, drunk, and foul-mouthed. Because of one kitchen mistake, the group decided to pack up their unpaid orders, and walk out on their $135 check. I hope karma comes back to them. But in all seriousness, we had a great time at the Stargate Diner. Please be kind to your service staff. The customer isn't always right, remember the Golden Rule with every person you interact with...
