Best Restaurants Open for Christmas Dinner this year in Shillington – 2024

We just went in for the first time because we heard about their gluten free waffles, pancakes, and French toast. The place was very nice and decorated well, we were welcomed immediately with warm welcomes. We sat down and ordered pancake tacos and I got a gluten free banana chocolate chip pancake. We also got bacon and potatoes with cheese on them. The food was fantastic, best coffee and pancakes I’ve ever had since going gluten free. Our waitress was also amazing. Her name was Stacey, and she was funny and liked to talk with us. She gave us good recommendations to make the whole experience amazing. We will defiantly come back and hopefully when my boyfriend and I aren’t crippling college students in debt, we will become regulars because that was the best breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere

My husband and I visited Crooked Hen for the first time since they opened. We very much enjoyed the food. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I had the Homestead Benedict which is eggs Benedict but with sausage and cream chipped beef. It was all my favorite breakfast items in one. Loved it. They were pretty steady with business which was expected for being a Sunday brunch time. Prices were fair in our opinion. This is not a diner so def does not compare to diner prices. Oh my husband also had a vanilla milkshake which he all but finished before the food came out so you could say he liked it.

This is such a cute place with amazing food & service. We had a pretty large party of 15 people, which included 7 middle school ice hockey players. The girls did a great job managing all of our orders. I highly recommend the quesadillas. The club sandwiches are huge & looked so fresh. My husband's omelet was also huge & delicious. A few of the kids got milkshakes, which were also good. Prices were also very reasonable. We definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!!!!!

You feel like family every time.goes up and above to please. Food is VERY flavorful and delicious.... just keeps you wanting more. Great variety to choose from. If you haven't eaten from here, you're definitely missing out !!

This was an amazing lunch I had and this place is just perfect! When I walked up, one thing I noticed was that everyone was so friendly and that was only the start! the chicken was prepared so perfect it was flavorful and juicy, and the sides were Mac and cheese and the greens and those were so delicious it was ridiculous haha! it was my first time having southern food since moving from Florida and I felt right at home! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely come back!

The owner Shanda has an outstanding business! Outstanding customer service! The food is the best anywhere, and uses smoked turkey instead of pork as a healthy but tasty choice. I order every week and enjoy leftovers because the servings are abundant. There is so much to love about this restaurant, and feeling like you are part of the family seals the deal.
