We hosted a private event (baby shower) at UVA and it was the best place to have done it. Sean & Patrick were AMAZING servers. Our guests even thanked them. They were exceptional in their service. They were so respectful, proactive, and easy to work with. The food was extremely good. I’m so glad we have a wonderful place to host private events.
We have been coming to UVA close to it’s conception. I frequent many restaurants and this is, by far, one of my favorites! Sean is usually there, which speaks to his dedication and success. The service is always amazing and prompt. The food is consistent, delicious, and well crafted! My husband and I have tried several different dishes and not one has disappointed. I want to drink their mushroom truffle sauce from the plate - highly recommend! Thank you for a local, quality restaurant we can depend on.
We came to dinner at the recommendation of a friend. It was my birthday. I was very disappointed. The server was very nice but he must not have put our order in or as he said "he didn't know what the kitchen was doing". People came, sat, were served ECT and we didn't get our appetizers. We had to track the server down to find out why it was taking so long. It was one hour and thirty minutes before we received our salad. The manager never came over to apologize. We are very unsatisfied with the experience and will not be back. And we will be sure to inform our friends and family about the unfortunate dining experience.

recently visited a delightful diner in Pennsylvania and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the eggs Benedict with sausage, as I prefer sausage over the traditional ham, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were superb, and the dish was beautifully presented. The atmosphere of the diner was charming, with two distinct sections—one featuring a cozy bar. I initially sat at the bar, where I could enjoy the lively interactions among the staff. They were truly wonderful, engaging, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. However, there were quite a few employees chatting while doing some cleanup for the chef, which prompted me to seek a little more privacy. I moved to a quieter spot on the right side of the diner. Despite the bustling environment, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff remained consistent throughout my visit. It was clear they valued their customers and took pride in providing excellent service. Overall, the food was incredible, and I left feeling very satisfied. I highly recommend this diner for anyone in the area looking for a great meal accompanied by cheerful service. I will definitely be returning in the future!
I’m not from Richboro but whenever I’m in the area I make sure to eat at Jake’s. I had the best omelette of my life here! The hash browns are also really good and the coffee is unlimited. It’s a nice homey spot and affordable for a filling breakfast.
Stopped by with a friend- she always over orders and then doesn't eat. My food was ok - the chicken salad platter salad was inexpensive but was mostly lettuce but that's how it is now. My friend ordered a club sandwich with sweet potato fries - from what little she ate, she said it was good. This is a local establishment. It's in a small strip mall that's easy to miss. It's been here along time. It's not a salad place, it's a all day breakfast-hamburger w fries - soup and sandwich place. Lots of seating inside - brightly lit. They don't rush you out and have alot of menu options. I usually like it but you have to be hungry to enjoy it.

Wait staff was very friendly before and after. Finished my first beer before meal came. And no more service during meal or the 15 minutes we waited for check and trief to figure out how they couldn't see an empty bottle in middle of table that could be seen from anywhere in the room. 11 people in entire restaurant. Guinness stew was excellent. Chicken tenders not so good. Stuffed pickles excellent.
Came for dinner with the family. The fish and chips were good. One big piece of fried cod, perfectly cooked. Finished off with irish potato egg rolls tossed in cinnamon sugar. Talk about yum!
One of the best meals I ever had anywhere. Lamb Shank with Colcannon. Friend had Shepherd's Pie. Followed by Irish Potatoes, creamy inside and crisp outside. True, it's understaffed, but quality and prices dwarf any slight inconvenience. We will go back.

I have never left a review so quickly!! First timer and did pickup. O m g. This is the best, freshest Chinese food I’ve ever had. Any other place you cut open the chicken and it GRAY. This was white meat chicken. My husband got sushi and said it was phenomenal. The restaurant itself is spotless and the woman behind the counter was so friendly. Absolutely will be back.
Fantastic. I ordered take-out. Ten years ago, I lived in an area with a Chinese/Japanese restaurant owned by my spouse's friend, and it was the best I had ever had. We have moved many times since then, and in each locale, I hope to find something similar. Sadly, I never do. My first experience here makes me think that has changed! The crab ragoons were simple and what you think of when you think of comfort food, which I appreciated. The tofu dish was light (not heavy laden), with what tasted like a fresh made sauce and perfectly cooked tofu. I'm very happy to have found this place and will be systematically trying all tofu dishes on the menu. I was only inside briefly, but it looked very nice. I will probably dine in at some point as well.
I’ve been going to Bruce for over 20 years now, the quality of his food between both locations is indistinguishable. The food is incredible everytime and the everyone is incredibly nice.
Ristorante Denicola is a premier dining establishment dedicated to delivering an exceptional culinary experience that celebrates the rich flavors of Italian cuisine. Nestled in…
Walking in was one of two tables. First table was done before we received the very dense stale bread. My dinner was good. My wife the pasta was very dry. Too much pasta that has soaked up all the sauce. Service is great because we were only one of two tables there at a time.
Incredibly disappointing meal from a restaurant that was highly recommended to us. We are very frequent diners at many restaurants across our area and love Italian food. Ristorante Denicola was, far and away, the worst meal we've eaten in quite some time. Allow me to be more specific: Bread was crumbly and dry and fell apart in your hands when you tried to butter it. It had the same consistency as frozen bread that has been defrosted and allowed to go stale. Server claimed that the bread was fresh and hot but got crumbly because he used a "cold knife to cut it." We ordered two Prix-fix plans that included soup or salad, pasta, and entree. Salads were swimming in dressing. Soggy and containing only spring mix, a few chopped carrots, and two small pieces of tomato. My wife's minestrone was like water. Overly full of cabbage and thinner than a can of Campbell's. My penne alla vodka was flavorless and served with an overabundance of cheese. The chicken parmigiana was a brown, mushy, flavorless slab of chicken so devoid of flavor it MUST have been frozen before as well. Easily the worst I've ever had. The server was pleasant and even offered us a small complementary pizza while we waited for our food, but his good service couldn't make up for the horrible food we were served.I asked him at the end of the meal where the real chef was because our food was inedible. He told us the regular chef was off that night but did nothing for our bill to make up for this really unpleasant dining experience.
I just ordered catering from here for a large party of 25 people and would highly recommend this place to anyone. I ordered various meat, pasta and veggie dishes and they were all great. For example, the chicken piccata melts in your mouth and my guests were fighting over leftovers. Would definitely order from here again and next time box up my own leftovers before letting it all disappear!
