Best Restaurants Open for Christmas Dinner this year in Vulcan – 2024

The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate any extras to your orders. The fish is very fresh and tasty, and their deep fried dumplings are worth getting along with a few rolls of sushi as the price is more than affordable ($7-$9 depending on the rolls). I have eaten here multiple times now and can't recommend it enough!

Bar dose not fallow covid rules or protocols the owner does not were a mask as required.. no hand sanitizer at till after use debit machine or near pinball machine or atm ... i dont reck amend drinking from here glasses are not sanitized! Its broken...... …

Probably one of my favorite bars in all of Alberta.

Clean spacious dining area, fresh ingredients and lots of parking...we'll be back

Stopped by yesterday morning around 9:30am and the guy was very rude to me denied me subs because he just opened I’ve been getting the same subs for many years for work and have never been denied anything from numerous subways Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone Went to work hungry

Ordered my favorite sandwich for take away only to discover HOT spicy mayo was used. Not impressed. Difficult to converse with the employees who were working. Watch what you are getting.

The food was good. Generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient. Cost was decent. It's an older place but it was clean. Thank you.

Recommended by Star Trek Staff. Coffee was completely cold and stale. Returned microwaved & still stale. Service was indifferent. Fish & Chips were dried out. Surprised at the positive ratings. I rarely comment but this was the worst restaurant experience in 2 decades.

Ordered 2 Medium thick crust pizzas, it was very good! Crust is thick and filling, toppings and cheese was very generous. If your taking a trip out to Vulcan, I would recommend the pizza! Staff was very friendly!

This is a very quirky little restaurant and well worth visiting if you're looking for generous servings and tasty food.

We stopped in for lunch and ordered a Mama's burger and potato skins. Both items were delicious, and the homemade soup was excellent! The owner was very nice, and we will definitely be back for the pizza next time.

Got pizza around lunch time with my aunt for vul con earlier today. Calm atmosphere and very nice server. Ordered a pizza called the mistake (I think) and it was delicious and one of the best pizzas both of us have had. Will definitely be back either this weekend or in the future

Great home cooked style Chinese food. Super flavours and textures and a little bit of you’ll feel like you’re in an episode of Fargo while you dine! Small town charm by the rice cooker!

Not bad, not spectacular … just good Value for money : 0/5 Ridiculous portion sizes and the fact that the restaurant wants extra for a side of rice on many items Total rating 2/5 For my money, Amy’s across the highway is a MUCH better deal with identical food quality

Mix vegetables and beef. Pork dumplings. Iv had this a lot of places. I'm from Texas. I drive a truck. Just lucked up on this place. This is the best iv ever had!

Stopped in after work, had a burger. And fries.. Yeah, they did a great job. It was really good. You can sit outside on the patio which is a great feature. Stop in if you're in town

You have to love this place, coming or going to or from a day at the lake. It's like an oasis when you just need to crush that fast food and apple pie on your way home. Staff is great, food is always fast and fresh.

bring back the cook to order and aluminum burger bag now a&w is just the same old same old your no different tte the rest of the burger chains I use to eat at a&w 3-4 times a week now maybe 2-3 a year you use to be competition to burger places like Fat Burger and five guys now you down with the bottom feeders like MacDonald's sorry but you lost a customer for life

We used the drive through for breakfast on the road. I am 99% sure I asked for the bacon egg sandwich on the English muffin. We ended up with the breakfast sandwich on a hamburger bun. I didn't complain to the server as I didn't want to turn around and go back. Even though the order was messed up the food was good. A&W has always had fresh ingredients and good service.
